Coal Association of Canada
Conference
October 16-18, 2024
Vancouver, BC
We hope you will join us October 16 - 18, 2024, in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver, for Canada’s premiere coal conference as we focus on Canada Has What The World Wants. Gain a broader understanding of the Canadian and global coal industry from Canadian and internationally renowned industry leaders, analysts and experts, panel discussions and fellow delegates, which you can put to work in your business.
We are happy to welcome back Bob Bell and Neil Bristow as our conference moderators this year. With decades of industry expertise in both the Canadian and international coal spaces, they will help guide and inform our sessions and discussions throughout the conference!
The CAC is also excited to continue our partnership with the Western Canadian Coal Society (WCCS) for the 2024 Technical Program. The WCCS will expertly curate the program that takes place on Wednesday, October 16, ahead of our always-popular Welcome Reception.
We are pleased to be joined by Ernie Thrasher of Xcoal Energy & Resources, who will deliver the Opening Keynote Address.
Day 2 of the conference will also include presentations on market outlooks and current and future industry economic trends, and we will explore the logistics of moving our valuable Canadian coal to market.
Interested in learning more about current and future metallurgical and thermal coal projects in Canada? Hear about them directly from various producers and pre-producers on Friday, October 18.
In addition to our quality information sessions, we have scheduled several networking opportunities. Delegates can catch up with colleagues and make new connections during the Welcome Reception, breakfasts, lunches and networking breaks, as well as the Awards Reception which will take place in the evening on Thursday, October 17.
Where to stay: A limited number of rooms at discounted conference rates are available from the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver on a first come basis. To book please visit: 2024 CAC Conference - Room Block
Stay tuned as we continue to finalize the program and watch for additional communications from the CAC. Visit www.coal2024.ca for conference details including the speaker line-up, social events, sponsorship opportunities, and to register!
We look forward to having you join us!
